This 1 day course is aimed at managers, safety officers and other employees who are responsible for fire safety and for carrying out fire risk
assessments in their workplace.
It covers the requirements introduced by The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 which will resulted in the removal of fire certificates
for commercial premises, replacing them with a requirement to carry out fire risk assessments. In most workplaces the person charged with this
responsibility will be the actual employer.
It is therefore vital that employers ensure that they have competent people to carry out this responsibility and related tasks who possess the
necessary level of knowledge and awareness in fire safety and fire risk assessments.
